Pittsburgh Business Times Features $10,000 Award Benefiting Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund

Pittsburgh Business Journal covered a donation to the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund in the print edition of their November 15 – November 21 issue. The Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund was recently awarded a $10,000 donation as part of Safeco Insurance‘s 2019 Make More Happen Awards. The award, earned by Howard Hanna Insurance Services, is part of the company’s Agent Giving Program, which recognizes independent insurance agencies that give back to their communities in the areas of community health, safety, education, or civil service.

“For more than three decades Howard Hanna has been raising money for children’s free care funds, to help provide medical care to children in need,” said Danielle Shearer, General Manager at Hanna Howard Insurance Services. “Throughout the year our employees and agents volunteer and work tirelessly on various fundraising events benefitting the care of children.  At the end of the campaign, donations are made to our children’s hospital partners in PA, OH, MI, NY, and VA.”
