Albany, NY (November 1, 2021) – Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is pleased to announce a leadership update in New York State, as Al Picchi has been named the President of Eastern New York.
Picchi has been in the real estate industry since 2001 and has been with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services since 2016, when the company acquired RealtyUSA. After the acquisition, Picchi transitioned from Vice President and Regional Manager of the Capital Region to Senior Vice President of Eastern New York, which includes the Capital Region, Central New York, and the Southern Tier.
In late 2020, Picchi was named President of Eastern New York, and since that time, has been diligently running the daily operations alongside a team of nearly 1,300 sales associates and employees in 40 offices across the region. With the partnership of this team of sales associates, regional managers, sales managers, and employees, Picchi has led the region to close $2.5 billion in sales volume and 11,300 closed transaction sides, based on 2021 year-to-date information.

Picchi holds a Master of Business Administration from the Sage Graduate School in Albany, New York, and is a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB). He lives in Bolton Landing, New York, with his wife, Darcy, and their two daughters, Rachael and Nicole.
