Bakery & Delicatessen Coming to RIDC O’Hara

Hanna Langholz Wilson Ellis Sells Former Max & Erma’s Site

Pittsburgh, PA, April 12, 2017– Hanna Langholz Wilson Ellis is proud to announce that they represented both the buyer and seller of the former Max & Erma’s restaurant building at 900 Gamma Drive in RIDC O’Hara. It was recently sold to William Kratsa for $1,200,000. Billy’s daughter, Kelly DiNatale, and her siblings will open a bakery and deli with sit-down seating in this high-profile location. The location sits at the entrance to the RIDC Business Park, along Route 28 in O’Hara Township on 2.89 acres and is a fully equipped 7,000 SF restaurant building.  Gary Wilson, SIOR, represented the buyer.

Ms. DiNatale comes from a long line of family bakers. Her grandfather, William “Billy Kay” Kratsa founded Periwinkles Bakery in Harmarville, which he, his wife, and his father operated.

Angela Gillot represented the seller, AC 20, LLC, which acquired the property by deed in lieu of foreclosure from the previous operator and their lenders in December 2016 and turned it within 90 days to Mr. Kratsa amongst a pool of three buyer prospects.
