Cleveland, OH (June 22, 2018) – One of the pillars of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is the duty to give back to the communities in which we work, play and live. In that spirit, a group of volunteers from the Howard Hanna Cleveland Heights office recently spent a day at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, the largest hunger relief organization in Northeast Ohio.
On May 31, ten Howard Hanna sales associates and staff helped out by sorting food for distribution. This group makes it a point to volunteer at the food bank about once a month. Ernie Cahoon, an Ohio native and longtime Howard Hanna agent, organized the day of service for the office.
“This is a community that has given me and Howard Hanna so much, and I’m a great believer in giving back. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is a great entity to give back to, because they serve over 55 million meals a year,” he said.
The Greater Cleveland Food Bank was founded in 1979 and seeks to bridge the meal gap, ensuring that everyone in Northeast Ohio has the nutritious food they need every day. The organization serves Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Ashland and Richland counties.
