CLEVELAND (Nov. 11, 2024) – In a powerful display of community support, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services offices across Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pa., came together to collect critical supplies for those affected by Hurricane Helene. Howard Hanna offices became donation collection centers, rallying agents, clients and local residents to contribute essential items for relief efforts.
The collection drive, spearheaded by Susan Delaney, an agent in Howard Hanna’s Shaker Heights, Ohio, office, inspired tremendous support. Donations poured in, filling a 26-foot box truck with much-needed supplies. The truck, loaded with essentials, made stops across Pittsburgh and Ohio before heading south to the Howard Hanna | Allen Tate office in Asheville, N.C. Brian Cagle, regional vice president of Howard Hanna | Allen Tate’s Asheville Mountain Region, coordinated with team members to receive and organize the donated items, preparing them for distribution to the hardest-hit communities in the Carolinas.
“Hurricane Helene has devastated many of our neighboring communities in the Carolinas, and we are proud to offer our support,” said Delaney. “The generosity of our communities across Ohio and Pittsburgh has been overwhelming, and we’re grateful to be part of a company that steps up in times of need.”
Many areas impacted by Hurricane Helene are still facing critical shortages, with limited access to running water and basic supplies. The donated items will provide essential relief as communities begin the long journey to recovery.
Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is committed to supporting communities and lending a hand wherever possible. This initiative is one of many ways Howard Hanna continues to serve as a dedicated resource for local and national communities in times of need.
