The 2025 Paint Color Trends Have Arrived

Every fall, the big paint companies release paint colors that are anticipated to be big in the new year. Taken into consideration by understanding macro and micro design trends, and social media analytics, Behr, Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore have all specified vibrant new colors to lean into in 2025. Ready to prime the walls and get creative with paint? Here are the 2025 paint color trends.

Benjamin Moore – Cinnamon Slate

Benjamin Moore’s color of the year is Cinnamon Slate. While the name of this color is a bit misleading, the depth of color and versatility is not. We love this warm, earthy plum and would love to see this in a kid’s room, on your front door, or painted on trim to match a pretty wallpaper moment in a powder room.

Sherwin Williams

Sherwin Williams stepped out of the box to offer not one, but nine colors of the year. Moving away from one paint color by cultivating a collection of paint colors is a new move for the paint retailer and one it thinks will encourage others to have confidence to experiment with color.

Included in the 2025 Sherwin Williams color collection are:

  • Rich browns like Grounded and Clove
  • Timeless neutrals like Sunbleached, White Snow and Malabar
  • Bold choices like Chartreuse, Bosc Pear and Mauve Finery
  • A classic blue: Rain Cloud

Behr – Rumors

Jewel tones are slowly making waves in the home design industry and if Behr’s paint color pick for 2025 of Rumors is any indication, these darker hues are here to stay. We can easily see this dramatic pick used to color drench (another paint color trend for 2025 that is predicted to continue to gain popularity) a room for that perfect moody vibe.
