A REALTOR® with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services was recently featured in a WKBN-TV news story highlighting how low inventory is affecting the housing market in 2020.
Jenna Koontz is a real estate agent with Howard Hanna’s Poland Office in Ohio. In the WKBN-TV story, she explains how a current combination of low housing inventory and buyers being extremely serious about wanting to find a new home is affecting her experience at work:
“The buyers that are out there are really good buyers, and it’s really stopped the people that are just window shoppers from going out and just browsing, so the buyers out there now are serious,” Koontz said. “We have buyers that are out in the marketplace looking for a year and a half to two years before they find the perfect home. So, they are not putting their house on the market until they find the perfect home. So, it’s been a lack of inventory and COVID has kind of stalled things,” Koontz said.
