Lori Hummel, a Howard Hanna real estate agent working out of the company’s Squirrel Hill office in Pennsylvania, was recently featured in a local report highlighting her charitable efforts.
Hummel, who has been with Howard Hanna Real Estate for more than 30 years, recently launched the company’s 23rd annual winter coat drive in the borough of Oakmont. The Hummel family, including Lori, also hosted their fifth annual Thanksgiving food drive last year.
In addition to highlighting these good deeds, the article about Hummel explains how working with Howard Hanna has helped her in carrying out acts of kindness and organizing charity drives:
“I love working for them because of their community spirit and their activism and involvement in the community,” Hummel said. “I care about home and family. It goes hand in hand.
“I’ve gotten to know so many people in the communities I serve. It’s really important to me to make those communities as strong as possible. The communities where we live, where we work, the communities we call home. We can only make the communities strong by helping the people that are in need or not in the same position that we’re in. By helping other people rise up, it brings up the whole community.”
