Pittsburgh, PA (March 5, 2020) Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, the largest independent real estate company in the United States, experienced a tremendous 2019 in agent growth, transaction totals, and expansion into two new markets.

“We’re already seeing activity through Q4 2019 and into Q1 2020, and expect the market to remain strong in all our areas through at least Q3 2020,” said Howard “Hoby” Hanna, IV, president of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. “As we approach the presidential election, we expect the market to soften slightly as buyers become leery of upcoming change. Historically, election season and the changes that come along with it impact the housing market regardless of the political landscape.”

His leadership was instrumental in helping the company, whose offices total more than 300 across 10 states, joined forces with Allen Tate to expand the brand across the eastern seaboard.

Howard Hanna Real Estate Services partnered with Allen Tate Realtors, the largest real estate in the Carolinas, in 2019, which contributed total agents to 9,326. This figure, combined with the insurance, mortgage, title and escrow services provided by Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, brings the total number of real estate professionals to over 11,000. These agents contributed to nearly 110,000 transactions in 2019.

The Find It First™ program, announced midway through 2019, allows Howard Hanna agents to market a seller’s home for sale exclusively on HowardHanna.com before it hits the open market.  The company’s website has close to two million visitors every month. Ohio is the first area where the company is offering the Find it First™ experience to consumers.
