Two Generations of Howard Hanna Leaders Rank as Most Powerful People in Real Estate

Pittsburgh, PA (January 15, 2020) – The 2020 Swanepoel Power 200 was released this week with rankings of the most powerful and influential leaders in the residential real estate industry.

Helen Hanna Casey, CEO, and Howard W. “Hoddy” Hanna, III, ranked 9th on the list, which showcases the significance that they have in the real estate industry. Howard W. “Hoby” Hanna, IV, President, also ranks 43rd on the Swanepoel Power 200 list as the third generation executive who runs the real estate brokerage operations.

“It’s an honor that we’re seen as a company that has multi-generational leadership and influence. It really exemplifies the vision that we have: The real estate industry sees us moving forward, not just resting on what we are today,” said Casey.

“While we are grateful for the acknowledgment, really the recognition is due to the agents, employees, managers, and all the people that carry out the mission and vision of Howard Hanna in their everyday lives,” added Hoby Hanna.

“Because these rankings are based on our influence, the power of the Howard Hanna brand, and the impact our sales associates and staff have, we are especially pleased. The list doesn’t just measure sales units or volume, but the actual value we bring to the communities we serve,” said Hoddy Hanna.

Additionally, Helen Hanna Casey was named 1st on the list of Most Powerful Women Executives in the Residential Real Estate Industry in 2020, a list that reflects the impact of women leaders in the real estate industry.

This is the seventh edition of the SP200, which is published by the real estate research and management consulting firm T3 Sixty each January. T3 Sixty analyzes over 3,000 industry CEOs, executives, and leaders to build each year’s list.
